Earth, Wind and Fire

I was in my final year at UC Berkeley and had a friend that gave me a ticket to see Earth, Wind and Fire at the Oakland Arena for the All ‘n All Tour. Wow, what a show too! Denice Williams opened up for the sold-out crowd – Maurice White produced Denice!!!

I can still relive so many amazing moments of the show. The lights dimmed and then a spot came on to a pyramid was lowered to the stage floor.  A gold costumed person with a glittered hat moved to the door and opened it up. One by one, members of the band made their appearance on stage.  Never have I ever saw a drummer raise up on a platform and turn 360 degrees and then tilt sideways as the crowd roared in approval.
